Rhubarb not Roses
Natoora’s “Radicchio not Roses” campaign aims to bring people’s attention to the lack of seasonality of a Valentine’s Day staple. Their research on roses in February makes for interesting reading, with light shone on some difficult truths alongside some beautiful imagery of one of our favourite winter leaves - gorgeous radicchio.
Putting seasonal produce front and centre for Valentine’s, we are championing pretty in pink rhubarb. Not only featuring on the food and drinks menus, we are using big and beautiful rhubarb leaves in our floral arrangements too. A true celebrations of the seasons.
Rhubarb has always been a February staple at Thyme. With terracotta forcers hiding the steadily emerging rhubarb leaves, the first rhubarb always brings with it the excitement of spring to come.
