Hiding in plain sight, down a street in the centre of the artistic town of Stroud, you’ll find a magical historic printing press called Rooksmoor Press owned by Katie Beard.

Renowned English Gardener Sarah Raven returns to Thyme this March to host four gardening courses spanning flowers, vegetables and pots, from 18th - 21st March.

Since 1999, she has been running courses from her own Sussex garden, Perch Hill, and is known for presenting on Gardener’s World and her books on gardening. Here she recounts her inspirations and what to expect this Spring.

The exhibition documents Jemma’s recent trip to Kenya as an ambassador for Tusk.  The title, The Golden Thread, is inspired by Caryn Hibbert’s (founder and creative director of Thyme), observations and writing on the migratory birdlife in the Water Meadow at Thyme, which travel between sub-Sahara Africa and the meadows here at Thyme, making vital connections between continents.

This October at Thyme, we welcome gardener, podcast host, environmental campaigner and French and Saunders enthusiast; Arthur Parkinson.

This autumn see’s Arthur’s fourth book published ‘Planting a Paradise’. It  follows on from his best seller,  ‘The Flower Yard’  in 2021, with a returning focus to pollinators and container gardening. 

This September we are delighted to welcome Blanche to Thyme, where she will be joined by House & Garden Editor, Hatta Byng, where they will discuss House & Garden’s first recipe book, ‘A Year in the Kitchen-Seasonal recipes for everyday pleasure’, written and curated by Blanche Vaughan.

Lauren is a lifestyle content editor with a focus on family, food, travel and all life’s simple pleasures.

We welcomed Lauren to Thyme this summer, where she was transported to the tranquil, corner of our Meadow Spa to experience the Botanical Bothy Signature Ritual.

Amanda started Wyldwood Willow in 2000, based in Monmouthshire, South Wales. She attends a range of events and festivals across the UK every year offering workshops and willow weaving demonstrations.

We chatted to Leathersmith and London College of Fashion Lecturer, Georgie Tym for a little insight in to her journey of leather craft, her creative processes and how she inspires future generations.

Reesha Zubair is an artisan potter working from her studio in Bristol. She produces small batches of pottery, both wheel thrown and hand built. Pieces vary from stand alone art to more functional tableware.

Ahead of her leather craft workshop at Thyme on Thursday 13th April, we caught up with Rosanna, to learn little more about her creative process, inspirations and advice as a designer.

Cotswold locals Clement and Beatrice wanted to find a way to showcase the work of their neighbouring creative communities, to celebrate their craftsmanship and help to share their stories with customers across the country. Beatrice, Co-founder of Vigour & Skills, shares the story of their platform and their mission “to re-shape how we shop, with a focus on sustainability, storytelling, and craftsmanship.”

Menswear brand Kestin is a firm favourite in our boutique. Here we catch up with Kestin, whose vision is “to produce product that stands the test of time and tells a story, weaving in references from my Scottish heritage and making them relevant for today.”
