Panel Discussion: Art and Interiors

A strong, authentic interior scheme should work to accommodate artworks in their own right.  Fiona McKenzie Johnston, Arts Editor, House & Garden talks to Lyndsey Ingram, Rebecca Gordon and Turner Pocock about building an art collection and creating interiors spaces that work hard to celebrate creativity and imprint the ethos of the individual in a home.  

Join us for buying tips, how and where to source work by up coming as well as established artists and hear from Bunny & Emma how they work with Lyndsey and Rebecca on their projects and weave in collections of art into their schemes.

The speakers

Fiona Mckenzie Johnston

Fiona McKenzie Johnston is a freelance journalist, writing on the arts, interiors, lifestyle and fashion for a variety of titles.  She is a contributing editor to House & Garden, and also writes for the Telegraph Magazine, Tatler, Sunday Times Style, Vogue India, Vogue Russia and Eco-Age.  ​

Additionally, Fiona is an ambassador for the parliamentary policy advisory group Fashion Roundtable, consults for the market-leading agency Cultural Communications, and is on the board of Art, Action, Change, a UK-based charity devoted to creating positive change in society through arts, with a focus on education and the empowerment of children.  

Lyndsey Ingram

Lyndsey Ingram is a London gallery with over 20 years of experience in the Post War and Contemporary Art Market.  With a strong background in original prints and works on paper, the gallery now has a much broader remit, showing works in all mediums.

The gallery hosts a full programme of museum-quality exhibitions of work by 20th-century masters, as well as the gallery’s own group of contemporary artists. Lyndsey Ingram participates in several international art fairs including Frieze Masters, Masterpiece London and The Armory Show. They are members of the International Fine Art Dealers Association and the British Antique Dealers Association.

Rebecca Gordon

Rebecca Gordon is a London-based art advisor working with private clients to help build and grow their art collections. Her 16 years of experience within the art world, ranging from Old Masters to Modern British and Contemporary Art, position her perfectly for this role.   Rebecca regularly collaborated with Lyndsey and Turner Pocock.

Turner Pocock

Turner Pocock is a London based interior design agency with an international portfolio of both residential and commercial projects. Set up by Bunny Turner and Emma Pocock in 2007, Turner Pocock has grown to a team of 10 including project managers, interior architects and designers. Turner Pocock have received significant recognition from the Design world, including: House and Garden Top 100 since 2012, winners of The International Design & Architecture Awards 2017, The Sunday Times Top 30, Country and Town House Finest 50 Interior Designers. They are members of the BIID.
