Enjoy Your Thyme

Around Thyme

Our ‘village within a village’ is located within the quintessentially English village of Southrop, situated on the River Leach.  Just 2 miles away is the small market town of Lechlade-on-Thames, home to a fantastic traditional butcher and Greengrocer, Cutlers & Cashin.

The ancient market town of Fairford is 3.5 miles west of Thyme, and Burford, a small medieval town lined with wonderful coaching inns, is considered the gateway to the Cotswolds, situated just 6 miles north and is a lovely place to stop en route to further destinations.

The Cotswold Cheese Company

Located on Burford hill, this cheese shop has a choice of farm fresh locally made cheeses.
