Orchid House

 

Positioned alongside our spring water swimming pool, the Orchid House is a tranquil, designed to help you wind down and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the Meadow Spa.

The sedum roof of the Orchid House is covered with native orchids, attracting a kaleidoscope of butterflies and honey bees.

A simple menu of salads and sorbets offers a light lunch with a pairing of juices, rosé and bubbles.

Things to Know

WHY IS IT CALLED THE ORCHID HOUSE?

The roof of the Orchid House is a sedum roof, covered with succulents and grasses as well as beautiful native orchids, attracting a kaleidoscope of butterflies and honeybees.

WHAT DOES THE ORCHID HOUSE OFFER?

The Orchid House is a quiet, resident-only space for guests to retreat. A place to spend a lazy afternoon, with a book in hand. It is an extension of the spa and as such a serene place, we encourage guests to respect this and keep the noise levels down.

WHAT FACILITIES DOES THE ORCHID HOUSE HAVE?

There is a changing room, a shower room and a loo. There are towels to borrow and a few lockers for belongings. Do note, the changing facilities are not extensive.

WHAT IS SERVED IN THE ORCHID HOUSE?

The Orchid House offers a light lunch menu for residents to enjoy in between bountiful breakfasts and indulgent dinners. The menu consists of nuts, olives, other small plates and salads as well as sorbets and ice creams. Drinks major on soft botanical juices and herbal teas, as well as rosé, cocktails and English sparkling.

HOW TO BOOK?

Although we do not take reservations for the Pool and Orchid House, groups of 5 or more may need to reserve a table for lunch, please contact the Meadow Spa to book.
